There’s nothing more beautiful in spring than blooming sakura’s that whish the gardens gracefully. Dancing around currents that follow melodic patterns, the petals evoke dreamy dazes filled with enchantment and enamor. And perhaps it’s the fleeting nature of those few seconds of beauty that make it all seem more glorious and desired. So here’s to living the impermanent and ephemeral, and making them lifetime memories.

The Japanese term 物の哀れ, awareness of impermanence, captures the petal showers perfectly. With every moment that passes by, an additional bloom detaches and journeys its way to the earthly roots. Such moments can be marked with sentiments of fragility and melancholy, but are much more beautiful when viewed with conscious presence and appreciation. Sure, time can be a costly measure, but it also aids the trees to grow taller and stand more gloriously down their long paths. In this sense, the fleeting beauty is only a glimpse of promising allures that await us.

To give ourselves into the moment allows us to experience growth like no other. Like the blossoms that become one with the soil, there’s a grounded foundation in syncing our pulses to the ticks of time. It gives us weighted and meaningful presences amongst the fleeting occurrences that flash by us. Therefore time no longer has to be something we chase after, and is instead a continuous flow of memories that guide us to brighter blooms and brighter futures.
